The best mats for sand and mud
By: Grant on 9 June 2022I previously had Sandgrabbas on my 200 series Landcruiser and loved them so much I needed them on my DT Ram Laramie. They are that good and they really live up to their name - virtually no sand hits the carpet. They are a lot easier to clean than other brands as they have no grooves or blocks where spilt drinks can make a gooey mess with sand mixed that you can’t get into the grooves to clean out. I just wash them using a car sponge and dry them off. Fitting took me all of 7 or 8 minutes and the fit is excellent. Quality is, likewise, top notch. The units are secured with press studs onto a strip of rubber you insert under the door sill, and this makes it a little more difficult to access the under floor storage bins in the rear floor, but it’s not a major issue for me as I only store rarely used things in there. The Sandgrabbas in my Landcruiser were in there four years and when cleaned up they looked like new. I have no doubt the ones in my Ram will last just as long.
